Close to Kefalonia, Ithaca is famed for being green and lush and for it’s secluded beaches. In Spring and early Summer the flora and fauna is stunning, wild flowers grow everywhere. In late Summer, after the heat of high summer, the harbour with the many boats, churches and beautiful views from the mountainous centre.
With a population of just 3,500 people, Ithaca is small, friendly and hospitable to visitors. Famed for it’s theatre, orchestra and Paint the Lyric Arts Festival, Ithaca is full of culture and a great and inspiring place to paint.
